x-tention: from 0 to over 100 in 8 years.

After only 8 years x-tention can already boast an impressive track record. This dynamic team, led by Managing Director Herbert Stöger, Wolfgang Pramendorfer and Harald Waibel, originated in 2001 from the IT department at Klinikum Wels to offer its specialised services.

The idea: x-tention harmonises the various, often incompatible IT systems for hospitals, retirement and care homes and social welfare facilities so that they can concentrate completely on their services and care.

The tools: complete solution packages for IT planning, IT operations management and software solutions. Today we have over 130 employees and are practically the market leaders in this sector. Practically because our services are unique anyway.

Uniquely Successful.

We are so unique because we reduce the burden on many facilities within the health and social welfare sectors by installing precisely placed and efficient solutions and train the relevant staff to work with them. It is also possible to completely outsource your IT department to x-tention.
x-tention is also unique because we work towards solutions without depending on any one manufacture and are thus committed only to clients.
As IT requirements are highly complex and very individual, particularly in the health and social welfare sector, the solution is always developed together with the client. Without dependence on a certain manufacturer the x-tention team combines standard hardware components with the correct software. This results in IT concepts that are excellent value for money. The size of the client's company is secondary: x-tention plans and realises solutions for both large hospitals and smaller companies in the health and social welfare sectors for every relevant area. After our planned and realised IT solution is complete the order is finished but the relationship with the client is not. We see each joint project as the beginning of a long-term relationship in which we support each company, even after the project is complete. We look after ongoing maintenance and support and are on-call at any time if questions or problems arise. And as our service team is also on duty at the weekend 'anytime' really means anytime.
